What is K Rend?
Based in Northern Ireland, K Rend is part of Kilwaughter Minerals, the largest independent manufacturer of silicone render in the UK and Ireland. Due to the silicone deposits in their renders, water runs off walls instantaneously, flowing away from your property instead of seeping into the structure to cause damp and mould problems. And, as the surface stays drier, there is less likelihood of algae build-up.
Options Available
K Rend offers a thin-coat range of silicone-based renders which are suited for external wall insulation boards or cement finishes. They are designed to move in tandem with their flexible bases.
Textured Render
The scraped texture range is ideal for brick or blockwork and is applied in thicker quantities. For our Coventry, Leamington Spa, Solihull and Warwick clients who prefer more textured appearances, the company sells renders with dash or roughcast finishes.
Coloured Render
At present, AJT Property Services offers our clients the 20 coloured renders available from K Rend. We can also arrange bespoke colours if you’d prefer to give your home a unique look, so please call us on 07966 375040 if you have a particular shade in mind. Our commercial clients may also prefer the individual look if matching their premises to company colours, for example.
Low-Maintenance Benefits
With little to no naturally forming algae to discolour the exterior of your home or premises, all our clients have to do is gently hose down the walls occasionally.
